All the works shown here are watercolours. I use Arches Hot Press paper  and 300gsm Cold Press paper.Also Saunders Waterford Cold Press 300gsm.I prefer Schmincke watercolours for their clarity  and high ASTM ratings but also use Talens and ocassionally Art Spectrum.Brushes at the moment are the Robert Wade  Series in Taklon by Neef but I have lots of others as well.

I am a fan of synthetic brushes as they give great control and are very versatile.

Farmer' s Market series

Every week I shop at my local Farmer's Market and I photograph what I have bought. I am slowly producing a series of these works which will show a year of local produce. The images are rendered in watercolours, oils and maybe pastel. The titles will consist of the week they were purchased.
